Hi, Iam currently with rogers for hi speed internet, but I find it quite slow at times.
Does anyone use the new Bell Fibe, they told me there is never a slow period always the same fast speed.
If this is true I wouldn't mind switching over.
Any Bell users feed back would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.

I was using Rogers hi-speed internet before. Based on their 10 Mbps download rate, I'm getting on average 9.3 Mbps. But they do slow down at times. On a few occasion (or I might say often) it drops to 7 Mbps. This kinda sucks if you are paying almost $50/month for the service. Notwithstanding, their cap rate is only 60 Mb/month bandwidth.

I recently took my chance by switching with Acanac. It's a DSL using Bell's network. Based on their 5 Mbps download rate, I'm getting an average and stable rate of 4.3 Mbps. It's a decent rate and you can't complain if you are just paying $18.95/month & enjoying unlimited bandwidth. I haven't used Bell, but I also previously have a pleasant experience with Teksavvy DSL. DefiniteIy, Bell Fibe will be able to deliver you a better and stable rate.

I don't know how critical is the internet speed to you. But having compared Rogers @ 10Mbps & Acanac DSL @ 5Mbps, I didn't see much difference. I didn't experience bottlenecks wih online video streaming and not much difference with file downloads using Acanac. Acanac may be not be for everybody. It has limited customer service and not good if you are technically challenged. But once you're up and running, you'll be ok & have nothing to worry except extra money in your pocket, which your spouse might find out later :D

Hi I recently switched providors to an independent that offers High speed DSL over the phone lines. It is exceptionally fast, I think it is 10,000 KPS. It is also cheaper than Bell it runs around $35/month. We are looking into providing this and other services as a part time business. We are moving onto Anderson Avenue and will be open in a couple more days. If you want to learn more let me know. We also have Video Phones with unlimited long distance North America for $32/month or World Wide at $49/month. These phones are great to see who you are talking to. You can monitor aging parents, babysitters etc.
